FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I GET MY FILM TO YOU?
Drop off or Post your film directly to our lab, or drop off via one of our Drop-Boxes.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
Once your film makes it to the lab - 2-3 days max for Colour film. 3-5 days max for Black & White.
DO YOU OFFER A RUSH SERVICE?
Yes, generally for + 50% extra. Bulk orders for less

HOW DO I USE YOUR DROP BOX SERVICE?
Our Drop-Boxes each have order forms, plastic bags & a pen. Simply fill out the order form, put it in the bag together with your film & drop it in the box. We’ll be in touch.
HOW DO I POST FILM TO YOU?
Download & print our order form. Fill it out & post it together with your film. Alternatively, post your film to us with your name, and provide the rest of the info via email.

HOW WILL I KNOW YOU'VE RECEIVED MY FILM?
Once your film arrives in the lab, we’ll send you an email with your order & payment details.

HOW LONG DO YOU HOLD NEGATIVES FOR?

If you wish to keep your negs it is important you let us know. On our order forms, there is a yes/no check-box for cut & sleeving. If YES is ticked - we promise to keep hold of your negs for 6 months. We offer return postage for $6 NZ wide. If you are a regular, we can keep your negs together. Just let us know. If NO or no option is ticked - your negs will be discarded.
WHY DO YOU CHARGE $1 FOR CUT & SLEEVE?

We charge $1 for cut & sleeve per order, not per roll. We do this for 2 reasons. #1 cut & sleeving takes time, storage space and material cost. #2 90% of customers do not collect their negs once cut & sleeved, which results in a waste of our time and plastic. By adding a small surcharge, it dissuades wastage. 
WHAT IF MY FILM RETURNS BLANK?
We can offer your money back for the scanning portion of your order (not incl. development costs) or store credit on your next roll(s).

DO YOU OFFER A PRINT SERVICE?

No, not at this stage. 

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY SCANS?
YOUR SCANS WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU VIA WE-TRANSFER
